Azubuike Akunne is a visionary creator, entrepreneur, and educator based in Columbus, Ohio. Drawing from his Igbo-Nigerian heritage and his family’s legacy in real estate and business, Azubuike has dedicated his career to developing innovative solutions that address societal challenges.

As the Founder of NeuBite, Azubuike is revolutionizing the vending industry by improving access to fresh and healthy foods in underserved communities. His dedication to addressing food insecurity is also reflected in his artistic work, such as the exhibition "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner," which sheds light on the issue of food deserts in America.

In his latest venture, "Inevitable Unexpected," Azubuike provides modular housing solutions to residents in Houston, demonstrating his commitment to sustainable, community-driven innovation. He envisions expanding this project to Columbus, Ohio, to address the city’s growing housing needs through modular housing designs.

Azubuike’s experience is global, having contributed to construction projects across Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand. This international exposure has enriched his approach, allowing him to integrate diverse perspectives and practices into his work.

Currently, Azubuike serves as the Fabrication Lab Manager at the Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD), where he guides the next generation of creators in exploring the intersection of art, design, and technology. His educational background in Human Nutrition from The Ohio State University further informs his multidisciplinary approach to problem-solving.
