Grant Program

AHT Grant Program for

Housing Innovation

Notice: 2025 Grant Program Postponement

Due to an ongoing leadership transition, the 2025 Grant Program will be postponed to reallocate funds to other AHT programs and initiatives. This shift will prioritize immediate impact by supporting affordable housing projects led by program participants and strengthening the capacity of emerging developers.

We remain committed to maximizing the impact of our resources and will reassess the reinstatement of the Grant Program when conditions allow. Thank you for your understanding and support.

The AHT Grant Program for Housing Innovation helps fund home repairs and subsidizes housing-related initiatives for nonprofits.

The program's first component provides funding for home repairs to individuals for exterior and interior home repairs that address health and safety, accessibility or code violations. These funds are disbursed to nonprofit organizations who currently operate repair programs.

The grant program’s second component provides funds to nonprofit organizations for non-production projects that support their existing housing. For example, a grant could be used to erect a fence, create a laundry room or fund other similarly specific projects.
