Vice President

Michelle Proulx is a leader in the multifamily real estate industry who excels at achieving results through strong analytics, developing highly successful teams, and maintaining expert knowledge in the affordable housing industry. Michelle is passionate about affordable housing and has dedicated her career to working with several developers that have specialized in affordable, subsidized, and/or supportive housing.

Michelle joined AHT from Woda Cooper Companies Inc., where she held the role of Vice President Asset Management and Regional Vice President over the past four years providing the opportunity to oversee the success of over 100 projects. These projects include stabilized assets, new construction buildings, acquisition rehabs, supportive housing, and mixed-use developments. In her role she was responsible for proforma projections, construction acceptance, financial management, project compliance, and lease-up/stabilized performance. Michelle has held executive roles with NRP Group, The Sterling Group, Kettler, and Greystar throughout her thirty-year career.

Michelle is a dedicated learner maintaining the following certifications in the affordable industry:

·        HCCP – Housing Credit Certified Professional – National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)

·        COS – Certified Occupancy Specialist – National Center for Housing Management (NCHM)

When she is not working on creating more affordable housing, she can be found with her husband and two Labrador retrievers enjoying the outdoors in Delaware, OH where they reside.
