Stacy Woodford

Stacy thrives at the intersection of financial savvy and social impact, driving both career and entrepreneurial pursuits in multifamily real estate. As a Tax Credit Investment Officer at Chicago-based National Equity Fund, he has secured more than $100MM in net equity investments with projects totaling more than $240MM of total development costs.

Stacy ensures investor satisfaction and project viability, crafting deals that balance financial goals with long-term community benefit. He identifies complex tax credit and development issues, partnering with sponsors to create sustainable, thriving affordable housing. Offering expertise beyond numbers, Stacy's deep knowledge covers real estate underwriting, tax credits (LIHTC, Historic, energy), rental subsidies, and legal structures, ensuring project success.

Beyond his corporate role, Stacy's entrepreneurial spirit shines in his family business, Woodford Construction. He actively underwrites, acquires, and develops single-family and small multifamily properties, building a rental portfolio with an eye for financial feasibility and navigating legal challenges working closely with the City of Columbus Environmental Division and Building Department.

His goal is to help move the single-family-focused business into the larger multifamily real estate space and contribute to the affordability crisis his family has called home for more than three generations.

Stacy holds a B.S. in Business Administration (with a marketing minor) from Lake Erie College and is a licensed real estate salesperson in Ohio.
