John Henson

John Henson is the managing member of JH Elite Properties, LLC. John is a Private Real Estate Investor, investing in single family and small multifamily properties in the Columbus metropolitan area. John has been a housing provider since 2013. John also has experience in wholesaling and rehabbing and flipping properties as well. 

Since 2012, John has bought and/or sold over 250 properties and has numerous satisfied customers. John looks for the win-win situations, where the seller, John, and the eventual homeowner or tenant can all win. He is not a Realtor, but a Private Real Estate Investor. 

Born and raised in Columbus, his passion and mission is strengthen and revitalize the Columbus communities and neighborhoods that he came from. He does this by numerous means:

1. By rehabilitating homes in Franklin County, Ohio and by placing quality residents in these homes.

2. By serving as Board member for Non-Profit organization, Images of Hope of Central Ohio, who mission is to provide life and job skills to the youth of central Columbus.

3. By serving as volunteer/mentor for the Safe In My Brother’s Arms (SIMBA) program at Franklin County Children Services (FCCS), who mission is to empower and enrich the lives of at-risk African-American youth in Franklin County, Ohio.

John earned his bachelor’s degree from Wittenberg University (Business Management). John also holds a Master’s of Financial Economics (MFE) from Ohio University, and a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from Otterbein University. John also holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and the Project Management Professional (PMP) designations. Additionally, he earned the Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) from Toastmasters International.
