Freweini "Weini" Abraha Alemayoh

Moses Realty, LLC

Freweini “Weini” Abraha Alemayoh learned the value of entrepreneurship from her father in Tigray, Ethiopia as a child. After arriving in Columbus in 2000, Weini opened Wintana’s Salon and Spa in 2004 and named it after her daughter. In 2012 she leveraged the success and savings from Wintana’s Beauty Salon and turned herself from tenant to landlord by purchasing a 1.3 acre property on main street under her real estate company: Moses Realty LLC, named after her son.

Weini converted an old lone star steakhouse into a storefront plaza, called The Moses Center, housing 3 tenants including: Wintana’s Salon & Spa, Flavor 91 Bistro - a farm to table concept, and Dipped In Ink - a women-owned tattoo parlor. Weini serves as board member and founder in several organizations and charities: Tigray Community of Columbus, North Bridge Investments - a national investment group, and Suhul Hospital Charity.

A proud mother of two, Weini happily shares that her proudest achievement is to have her daughter Winta and son Moses as her business partners.
